This is a great place to try out new games for free. It's $12.50 to pre-pay via PayPal, $20 at the door. 9AM-Midnight. Ok, I guess it technically isn't free. But with most of these games costing around $50 to buy, it's a good way to try them before buying them.

Here's the cheat sheet summary of what happens at this thing. They rent out a ballroom or two at the hotel and have tables set up against all of the perimeter walls. They also have rows and rows of tables in the middle. People bring in games from home and put them on the tables at the edges of the room and then you can go borrow anyone's game to play. It's awesome. I always bring some snacks and drinks because the food there is a little expensive and I don't like having to leave a game to go find something to eat.
Does anyone have a list yet of the games they will be teaching this year??
I know I'm teaching Hansa Teutonica at 9:30. I don't know about everything else though. I think I'm going to be seeing Phil tonight and if I do I'll ask him about the other games and who's teaching. I'll post the list here when I find out.
Part one of Unity teaching schedule.
(9:30 - 11:30am):
7 Wonders -- Chris Buhl
Hansa Teutonica -- Star Fix
Kingdom Builder -- Phil Alberg
London -- Justin Berman
Quarriors -- Steve Marbit
(11:30 - 1:30pm):
Carcassonne -- Dawn Townsend
Discworld: Ankh-Morpork -- Ben McJunkin
Eminent Domain -- Thom Goodsell
Powerboats -- Carl Olson
Small World -- Dave Kamin
Part two.
(1:30 - 3:30pm):
Alien Frontiers -- Bob Menzel
Belfort -- Dave Lartigue
Die Burgen von Burgund -- Walter Hunt
Egizia -- Rob Kircher
Le Havre -- Ata Gurpinar
Magnum Sal -- Scott Pizio
This list isn't finalized and could change. Probably won't though.
There's no sign up for the games, it's first come first taught. Most people who show up on time will be able to play.
And here's a link to a list of games that people are planning on bringing. It's obviously not comprehensive. You can request games to be brought here as well.
